November Weather and Diving

November 2021 was not nice, even stronger, it was the worst in my memory, 2022 has easily surpassed that. November 2023
and 2024 were not that bad but also not very nice, they looked more like an October.
All in all in 2024 we only had 7 completely sunny days and 15 at least partially sunny days. On 7 days we had rain in the evening, heavy sometimes,
and on 9 days we had some or even heavy rain during the day. We had 8 overcast days, only 1 of those really wet.
The wind was significant stronger than average, with 14 days with a moderate wind or strong gusts.
In 2024 on 6 days diving in the King Cruiser-Shark Point area was not safely and comfortably possible, the other destinations were
ok on all days. In 2023 we had the same limitations. In 2021 on 4 days we could not dive at all at Kata Beach and on quite a few other days conditions were not nice, in 2022
we could only start diving at kata Beach on the 26th. We also had 2 days where we could not safely and comfortably dive
in the King Cruiser-Shark Point area. In 2020 we could go diving to all destinations on all days, albeit conditions at our housereef were not nice on all days,
In 2019 on all but one day we could go diving at our houserreef, but on 14 days
the conditions there were not nice, and on 2 days we could not dive in the King Cruiser/Shark Point area.
This compared to 2018 and this year where on all days we could reach all destinations safely, albeit a bit rocky sometimes,
but in 2018 one day we could not dive at our housereef here at Kata Beach. This happened to also be the case in 2017,
all destinations possible every day, but one day no diving at Kata Beach. In 2012 we could go diving at all destinations
on all days, in 2013 on 2 days we cancelled all diving because of the weather conditions, in 2014 we could reach all
daytrip and liveaboard destinations every day, but on 4 days we could not dive here at our housereef in Kata Beach,
in 2015 on 2 days we could not safely and comfortably dive in the King Cruiser/Shark Point area (and of course also not at our housereef on those days),
but in 2017 and 2018 we could reach all destinations every day except for one day at our housereef in Kata Beach.
