Rescue Diver and 
First Aid / CPR

• Prerequisites: minimal Open Water Diver (SSI) or Advanced Open Water Diver (PADI) and 15 years old (12 for the Junior Rescue Diver).
• Complete knowledge development.
• A certification requirement is successful completion of a sanctioned course in CPR and primary first aid within the past two years. For more information about the React Right course see further below.
• Materials you'll be using during your rescue course: Rescue Diver Crew-Pak (including Rescue Diver manual) and Rescue Diver DVD. We will provide this included in the course price.

During the Rescue Diver course you'll cover:

• Self Rescue and diver stress
• Emergency management and equipment
• Panicked diver response
• In-water rescue breathing protocols
• Egress (exits)
• Dive accident scenarios.

You'll also work on knowledge development and an emergency assistance plan.

The skills we first practice in the pool, final assesment of the skills will be in the open water. The swimming pool here in Kata Phuket was build specifically for conducting diving courses. We'll conduct a minimum of vijf sessions in the open water.
During these sessions you'll also do the dive accident scenarios.

This course takes 2 days, price is 11,850 Baht (SSI) or 13,250 Baht (PADI). This includes if the conditions allow it after the swimming pool practice some more practice at our housereef in Kata Beach, followed by on day 2 diving at a 3-dive boattrip. All meals on the boat, course materials, hotel transfers from most Phuket areas and diving equipment (if your Open Water Diver course has been completed with us) are included.
